- Monitor JAMB CAPS Frequently: Candidates are expected to check the Transfer Approval section on their JAMB CAPS portal regularly. If UNIZIK decides to move you into a new programme, you must accept the transfer quickly. Delayed acceptance can lead to cancellation of the offer.
- Upload Your O’Level Results Correctly: Your O’Level results must be properly uploaded to CAPS for verification. If the results are missing, incomplete, or incorrectly uploaded, JAMB will not process your admission, even if UNIZIK selects you.

- Students Already Offered Admission Are Not Eligible: If you have already been offered a course, whether or not you accepted it, you cannot participate in the shopping process. This prevents duplication of admission records and ensures fairness in the selection process.
- Queue Management System Is Enabled: To reduce traffic on the portal, UNIZIK has introduced a queuing mechanism:
- Only 1000 users are allowed to access the portal at any given time
- Others will remain in a waiting queue

- Each User Has Only Five Minutes of Active Portal Time: Once admitted into the portal, the system gives you 5 minutes to complete your entire application. After the timer ends, your session expires and you return to the waiting area.
